Sophie Zhevnerov, Outreach Coordinator
Sophie Zhevnerov (she/her) is SageMind Psychology’s amazing outreach coordinator and administrative assistant. She responds to new client inquiries, conducts initial phone screenings, matches clients with our expert clinicians, and helps with our administrative tasks such as out of network billing requests. She is passionate about working with children and teens, and committed to promoting mental health awareness through empathy and optimism within informal, academic, and professional spaces.
Along with being a part of the team at SageMind Psychology, Sophie is also a volunteer with the non-profit organization Project Sunshine, where she participates in activities such as arts and crafts with patients at the NYU Fink Children’s Ambulatory Center. She also teaches musical theater and voice classes at Vicky Simegiatos Performing Arts Center in the heart of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
Sophie is currently studying to be a school psychologist at Fordham University, and recently earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pace University.
In her free time, Sophie loves playing video games, kickboxing, and singing. She also speaks Russian.
