Welcome To SageMind Psychology! I am so happy you made it to our page. Before I introduce myself, I'd love to introduce you to our practice as whole. I am incredibly honored to be a part of such a skilled, passionate, and caring team of therapist. All of our therapists are highly trained in working with clients that struggle with emotion regulation and impulsivity. They are experienced in working with children, teens, parents, and adults. We commonly treat self harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, parent-child conflict, the 2E population, and trauma. Our entire team is LGBTQIA affirming and neurodiversity informed. As far as myself, I am the founder and executive director of SageMind Psychology. I am a clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University. I completed an APA accredited internship at Mount Sinai Services, where she gained extensive experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. My concentrations included Dialectical Behavior Therapy and play therapy. My doctoral dissertation focused on the importance of family inclusion in child therapy.
Specializing in Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I have had great success in the treatment of clients struggling with emotion dysregulation, behavioral disorders, interpersonal difficulty, family conflict, anxiety, depression, and phobias. I am passionate about creating a space that is inclusive and affirming for all of my clients. My approach empowers clients to improve the quality of their lives by changing patterns in their thoughts, feelings, emotional, and relational response. I have delivered evidence-based interventions across school, hospital, clinic, and research settings. I am dedicated to supporting my team so that they can thrive as therapists and provide top-notch, personalized care.

Dr. Stacy Beach Director of Clinical Training
Stacy Beach (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist and the director of clinical training at SageMind Psychology. Dr Beach earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pace University and holds her masters of science in education (MSed) in School Psychology. Stacy is experienced in providing evidence-based practice to treat children, adolescents, adults, and families in many different settings, including schools, major hospital systems, and outpatient clinics. She has worked with clients who present with a variety of difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and behavioral challenges, trauma, and medical diagnoses.
In addition to providing individual therapy, Stacy has worked with parents in many capacities, and has particular expertise in infant and maternal mental health. Stacy provides therapy in various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and play therapy.
Stacy offers a warm and empathic environment for clients to explore all areas of their lives, and focuses on meeting her clients where they are in the therapeutic space. She encourages her clients to use the therapeutic relationship as a way to discover their strengths and learn new ways to grow and adapt to the changes and challenges that come their way.

Kristin Huffaker- Lead Therapist, Child & Adolescent Intensive Programs
Kristin Huffaker (she/her) is a Licensed Master Social Worker and the lead therapist who oversees our Child and Adolescent intensive programs. These include our Intensive Outpatient DBT program as well as our Summer intensive programs. Kristin earned her degree in Clinical Practice with Children and Families from Monmouth University. She specializes in serving children, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, and their families.
Kristin is experienced working with clients who present a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties such as anxiety, depression, attention deficits, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal relationships, and family conflicts. In her practice, Kristin employs a combination of methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) under a strength-based, person-centered, trauma-informed lens to help her clients find effective treatment.
Kristin provides a safe, non-judgmental and affirmative space for all clients to feel supported in achieving their goals. As a therapist, her goal is to collaboratively explore a balance between acceptance and change to navigate life's challenges. She feels that being authentic, empathic, and compassionate sets a foundation for clients to feel comfortable connecting and sharing their story. Kristin encourages her clients to show up for themselves each day and is always by their side cheering them on.
Caitlyn Roy, LMSW
Caitlyn Roy (she/her) is an engaging Licensed Master Social Worker who graduated Magna Cum Laude from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work Program. Caitlyn is passionate about redefining the therapy experience for her clients by integrating a holistic, whole-person approach with evidence-based interventions and tools.
Caitlyn has significant experience working with children and teens, as well as their parents. She has particular expertise treating Anxiety, Depression, ASD, Social Skills, School Refusal, and low self-esteem. Caitlyn believes that those who are struggling are more than their story or circumstances, and works alongside her clients for them to begin constructing a healthier outlook and improved behavioral patterns. It is Caitlyn’s mission for her clients to feel seen, heard, and validated in their therapeutic experience. Caitlyn understands that every person and family has a story, and she welcomes you to share yours, without judgement. She's glad that you found your way here.

Dr. Amber Cope
Dr. Amber Cope (she/her) is a limited-permit clinical psychologist at SageMind Psychology. Dr. Cope earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University Brooklyn and her master of arts in psychology. She has experience across the lifespan and specializes in working with children, adolescents, families, young adults, and couples across various community and clinical settings.
Dr. Cope has experience in treating a wide range of psychological challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and attention and social deficits. She is particularly adept at working with families with histories of trauma, parents navigating complex dynamics, and young individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She employs evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
She draws from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed methodologies to create a comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Cope believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a warm, accepting environment where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and strengths. Dr. Cope is a gender-affirming clinician and has experience providing care to individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. Additionally, Dr. Cope has experience providing psychological evaluations, including neuropsychological evaluations, intelligence and gifted/talented assessments, academic testing, attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder evaluations, and comprehensive psychological evaluations which provide diagnostic information, academic support, and treatment recommendations. Dr. Cope is committed to empowering her clients to develop resilience and discover their innate capacity for growth.
She views therapy and psychological assessments as a collaborative journey, working alongside her clients to identify goals, build coping skills, and foster meaningful change. Her approach is both compassionate and practical, helping clients not only understand their experiences but also develop concrete strategies for navigating life’s complexities. She welcomes individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds, believing that everyone deserves a space where they can feel heard, validated, and supported on their path to emotional well-being.

Meg Hudon
Meg Hudon (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Silberman School of Social Work where she earned her degree in Clinical Practice with Children and Families. Meg has worked with children of all ages and their caregivers for over ten years using various therapeutic interventions including non-directive and directive play therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy.
She has treated children and adults with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, and PTSD among other socio-emotional/ behavioral challenges.
Meg prioritizes building authentic relationships characterized by trust and safety so the true work can begin. Meg believes that given the right environment, all individuals have the capacity for growth and change within them. It’s her job to help facilitate this growth by creating a healing centered environment and providing some additional tools and skills along the way. Together, you and Meg will work to identify your goals and collaborate to build your capacity for joy, connectedness, and resilience.
