    Dr. Rebecca Kason (she/her)

    is the founder and clinical director of SageMind Psychology. Dr. Kason is a clinical psychologist (licensed in NY, NJ, VT, & MA) who earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University. She completed an APA accredited internship at Mount Sinai Services, where she gained extensive experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her concentrations included Dialectical Behavior Therapy and play therapy. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the importance of family inclusion in child therapy.

    Specializing in Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. Kason has had great success in the treatment of clients struggling with emotion dysregulation, behavioral disorders, interpersonal difficulty, family conflict, anxiety, depression, and phobias. She passionate about creating a space that is inclusive and affirming for all of her clients. Dr. Kason’s approach empowers clients to improve the quality of their lives by changing patterns in their thoughts, feelings, emotional, and relational response. She has delivered evidence-based interventions across school, hospital, clinic, and research settings. She is dedicated to supporting her team so that they can thrive as therapists and provide top-notch, personalized care.

    Sabrina Grover (she/her)

    is a talented Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from New York University. Sabrina has experience working in substance abuse recovery centers and schools where she gained experience providing evidence based treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Sabrina specializes in Dialectical, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She has particular expertise in the treatment of clients struggling with grief, complex trauma, interpersonal difficulty, family conflict, anxiety, and depression.

    Sabrina wants her clients to remember they are enough. She believes therapy must be a supportive environment for everyone who commits to growth and offers a warm, nonjudgmental atmosphere that will put you at ease.

    Eva S. Reichel (she/her)

    is a passionate therapist and a valuable member of our clinical team. Eva received her Master of Social Work degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work and is currently a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey. Eva has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy in outpatient mental health clinics. Eva’s research accomplishments on evidence-based treatments for anxiety led to presentations in national conferences and publications in a prestigious scientific journal. She demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques and mind-body interventions and provides therapeutic services in both English and Spanish.

    As a therapist, Eva hopes to create a space that makes you feel comfortable and understood. Her approach is inviting, empathic and transparent. Eva and her clients form a team to tackle presenting problems and goals collaboratively. Eva provides a warm, compassionate space and integrates client’s strengths while providing practical tools to thrive.

    Caitlyn Roy (she/her)

    is an engaging therapist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work Program. Caitlyn is passionate about redefining the therapy experience for her clients by integrating a holistic, whole-person approach with evidence-based interventions and tools.

    Caitlyn has significant experience working with children and teens, as well as their parents. She has particular expertise treating Anxiety, Depression, ASD, Social Skills, School Refusal, and low self-esteem. Caitlyn believes that those who are struggling are more than their story or circumstances, and works alongside her clients for them to begin constructing a healthier outlook and improved behavioral patterns. It is Caitlyn’s mission for her clients to feel seen, heard, and validated in their therapeutic experience. Caitlyn understands that every person and family has a story, and she welcomes you to share yours, without judgement. She’s glad that you found your way here.

    Kristin Huffaker (she/her)

    Kristin Huffaker is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York and Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey, who earned her degree in Clinical Practice with Children and Families from Monmouth University. She specializes in serving children, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, and their families.

    Kristin is experienced working with clients who present a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties such as anxiety, depression, attention deficits, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal relationships, and family conflicts. In her practice, Kristin employs a combination of methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) under a strength-based, person-centered, trauma-informed lens to help her clients find effective treatment.

    Kristin provides a safe, non-judgmental and affirmative space for all clients to feel supported in achieving their goals. As a therapist, her goal is to collaboratively explore a balance between acceptance and change to navigate life’s challenges. She feels that being authentic, empathic, and compassionate sets a foundation for clients to feel comfortable connecting and sharing their story. Kristin encourages her clients to show up for themselves each day and is always by their side cheering them on.

    Ella Laniado (she/her)

    Ella Laniado (She/Her) an enthusiastic therapist who graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey and a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York. Ella has experience

    working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families in inpatient, outpatient and school settings. Ella has expertise working with clients who experience a range of challenges, including, but not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, OCD, phobias, trauma and interpersonal difficulties. She utilizes an integrative approach to best serve the needs of her clients and their families drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP) and Play Therapy modalities. Ella has a certification in Trauma-Focused CBT and brings a trauma-informed lens to her work.

    Ella emphasizes the importance of  building a safe and trusting relationship with her clients. Her approach is highlighted by her warmth, creativity and humor, which inform her ability to build rapport and strengthen the therapeutic relationship. She believes in utilizing a collaborative approach, drawing from her client’s experiences and insights to support growth and healing. You do not have to sit with your pain alone. Ella is ready to partner with you so that you can see meaningful and sustainable change.

    Dr. Stacy Beach (she/her)

    Stacy Beach earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pace University and holds her masters of science in education (MSed) in School Psychology. Stacy is experienced in providing evidence-based practice to treat children, adolescents, adults, and families in many different settings, including schools, major hospital systems, and outpatient clinics. She has worked with clients who present with a variety of difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and behavioral challenges, trauma, and medical diagnoses.

    In addition to providing individual therapy, Stacy has worked with parents in many capacities, and has particular expertise in infant and maternal mental health. Stacy provides therapy in various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and play therapy.

    Stacy offers a warm and empathic environment for clients to explore all areas of their lives, and focuses on meeting her clients where they are in the therapeutic space. She encourages her clients to use the therapeutic relationship as a way to discover their strengths and learn new ways to grow and adapt to the changes and challenges that come their way.
