Evidence-Based DBT Groups for Lasting Change
At SageMind Psychology, we offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups that are rooted in decades of research and clinical evidence. DBT is a proven, highly effective treatment for individuals who struggle with emotion regulation, impulsivity, interpersonal challenges, and stress management. Our small group format allows participants to practice skills in a supportive environment, receive individualized guidance, and see meaningful changes in their daily lives.
Why DBT Works
DBT groups are structured, skills-focused, and evidence-based, combining mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Research shows that participants in DBT programs experience:
Significant reduction in emotional distress and impulsive behaviors
Improved relationships and communication skills
Greater self-awareness and mindfulness in everyday life
Enhanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Our clinical team collaborates closely, consulting weekly to ensure each participant receives consistent, compassionate support. This collaborative approach maximizes the effectiveness of treatment and promotes sustainable, long-term change.
All of our groups are LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodiverse affirming, creating a safe, inclusive environment where participants can fully engage and thrive.
“Every skill learned here is a step toward a life with greater balance, stronger relationships, and lasting emotional resilience.”
